The Academy is in a professional office building in Wheaton, Maryland, an urban city just North of Washington, D.C.. Its location is convenient to the Wheaton Metro station and is only minutes from the Capitol Beltway (1-495). The Academy is recognized as one of the leading schools of its kind. It was established in 1963. It is approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission. The student to teacher ratio will not exceed 20: 1
